Our newest and youngest ever visitors.

On Friday May 20th the local PCSO's came to visit and talk to the children about keeping safe.

Jo Clarke visited and led a session of Mindfulness and Yoga.  The chidren, and staff, enjoyed learning about breathing, stretching and positions such as cat, elephant and mouse.

Pet Week

We had lots of pets come to visit us this week, including Bailey, Marley, Sunshine, Messi and Finn.

Nick, a National Trust Ranger and his colleague, came to Woodlands to carry out a bug hunt with the children.  They enjoyed looking for worms, spiders and millipedes and looking at them through the magnifying glasses.  They were very careful to put all the creatures back where they'd found them.

The Tickle Monster visited Woodlands with his author Lorene Farrugia.  The children listened enthralled and joined in enthusiastically with the roaring, sneezing and 'Boo-ing' noises made by the monsters!

Bill and Rosie, the Downley Tractor, are regular visitors to Woodlands.  The children enjoy learning how Rosie is used on the common and trying to drive!

Rachel from the Disraeli Children Centre visits every term.

When High Wycombe fire brigade come to see us the children all love to have a go on the hoses.
