Children are normally accepted into Woodlands in the term after their 3rd birthday, however we are sometimes able to take 'rising 3s' i.e. children who will turn 3 during the term they start in (see below). At this time they are entitled to access a minimum of 15 hours per week of Funded Entitlement (FE), however some may be eligible for up to 30 hours. Please speak to us about this for more details.

We acknowledge that parents may choose to stagger the take up of their child's entitlement over their time with us and some children start on 9 or 12 hours (3 or 4 sessions) per week.

Where possible and when space allows, children may start at Woodlands as a rising 3. Although not eligible for FE until the start of the following term, some children may be entitled to 2 year old funding, depending on family circumstances.  Please ask for details or search the Bucks County Council website for further information.  Where this does not apply fees are payable at £6.50 per hour. Please speak to the Setting Administrator for more details.

Where a child attends another setting as well as Woodlands, in some circumstances, funding can be split between the two settings. Please speak to the Setting Administrator for details.

We offer a breakfast and lunch club, these are not able to be included in funded hours and a fee is applicable for both. For more details, click here

You can download a copy of the application form here. Once completed, you can send this to the address at the foot of the page, or scan and email to us.

Prior to a child starting at Woodlands, we will need to see evidence of your child's date of birth, and we will ask you to sign and uphold the Parent/Provider Agreement for Free Entitlement, which will be supplied to you.
